Welcome to Andishgah

ANDISHGAH is a research and analysis organization, created to provide independent, nonpartisan,and objective scholarly research and analysis on critical contemporary issues facing Iran and Iranians worldwide. As such, it will utilize the knowledge base of Iranian and non-Iranian experts to conduct scholarly research and provide balanced and useful analysis to its target audiences (academia, media, private,public, and non-profit sectors as well as the general public) to fulfill its mission.

To this end, Andishgah strives to:

1. Collect and analyze data, provide highly professional and objective reports on different issues of concern within various sectors impacting Iranians inside and outside Iran.
2. Provide objective quality research and analysis on critical contemporary issues of interest to help bring about more effective and targeted decisions in its areas of focus regardless of sociopolitical issues and circumstances.
3. Help foster greater understanding of Iran and Iranians worldwide amongst scholars professionals, governments and public at large. All work undertaken at andishgah (every data base, publication, or major briefing) shall be held to rigorous review processes in accordance with balanced scholarly standards, which shall constitute the foundation of andishgah.

Andishgah is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. andishgah shall be organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. No substantial part of this Organization shall consist of lobbying, or propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, except as provided in Section 501(h) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, and this Organization shall not participate in or intervene in (including publishing or distributing statement) any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.
